Desperate to survive, they sent ‘ads’ via carrier pigeons to the regions   beyond. Soon the birds returned, toting work orders that the   bird-keeper removed.</p>
<p>The merchants were notified, and ‘rushed’ to pick up their orders!   (Well, they did stop for starbucks on the way…) When they finally   arrived, they discovered the ‘orders’ unreadable; obliterated by pigeon   droppings! The bird-keeper was canned, the village went under, and new   customers were lost.</p>
