The Google Killer…Wolfram|Alpha?

I just posted a video about WolframAlpha. It’s a new kind of engine. It’s not a search engine like Google, Yahoo, or MSN which displays lots of different results. Ideally, it displays the exact answer you are looking. So, what does it mean for me…and why should it matter? Those are good questions and again I don’t know the answer. However, I think you should at least be aware of some of these really incredible technologies out there.

    Wolfram alpha is not a google killer, they do different things, google tries to index the web while wolfram alpha tries to index information.

    Excellent information! That's a very powerful demo of Wolfram Alpha. If you hadn't given such good examples of its use, I probably wouldn't have been as interested to try it. But you put it together in such a way that I can see how it will benefit me on a day-to-day basis. I also sent it to my development team, and hopefully it can benefit them as well. Thanks!
